All services provided by Tassels Training Ltd are subject to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Tassels Training Ltd provides information and training relating to the TaSSeLs Tactile Signing for Sensory Learners communication system.
COPYRIGHT
Tassels Training Ltd owns the copyright to all materials shown on the tasselstraining.com website including its logos. Any material contained on the website or within training handouts may not be reproduced in any form or used without the express written permission of Tassels Training Ltd.
PAYMENT
Invoices are sent electronically via email a minimum of 30-days prior to each course. Payment terms are stated on your invoice and invoices can be paid via BACS or cheque. Due dates for payment are clearly stated on invoices.
You agree that Tassels Training Ltd will exercise their statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to the agreed Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to charge interest at 3% over bank base rate on overdue invoices.

TRAVEL CHARGES
Our trainers endeavour to travel to training venues using the most cost-effective routes. This may be via any one of the following methods:

| Car | Mileage is calculated using Google maps and charged at 65p per mile fuel allowance, calculated from the trainer’s base:(1) Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, WV6 8UQ or (2) Hagley, Stourbridge, DY9 0JN. |
| Air | Cost of ticket, baggage allowance, and any bus/taxi fare incurred. |
In addition, trainers reserve the right to claim subsistence for meals and accommodation costs where these are incurred. These costs will be agreed prior to booking.
CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:
No training booking will be confirmed unless a written reservation is received via a Tassels Training Ltd booking form.
Tassels Training Ltd must be notified of any changes to training venues at least 30-days in advance of the training date and Tassels Training Ltd reserve the right to adjust the training fee accordingly.
Attendees’ names may be changed at any time without charge.
CANCELLATIONS
By Customers
- All cancellations must be made in writing and received by Tassels Training Ltd at least 10 working days prior to the event and will be subject to a £20 administration charge.
- We will not accept cancellations that have not been received by us, and you should obtain proof of sending.
- Cancellations not giving the required notice, and those not received in writing, will not be accepted and the agreed course fee will be due.
- Full course fees will be levied against the sponsoring school/organisation for delegates who fail to complete the programme without good cause.

Whilst every effort is made to avoid changes to planned training, Tassels Training Ltd reserves the right to vary the timing, date, and venue of a course where the occasion necessitates, or to cancel the event and issue a full refund of any fees paid. Where this occurs, Tassels Training Ltd will give the earliest possible notice of cancellation. Tassels Training Ltd is unable to accept responsibility for any costs Customers may incur, including re-imbursement of travel, accommodation or staffing cover costs. Tassels Training Ltd cannot be held responsible for events outside of its control.
CONFIDENTIALITY
It is the policy of Tassels Training Ltd that all matters arising from the delivery of Tassels Training Ltd courses is confidential. This confidentiality will end with the consent of our Customers, or where we are required by law to disclose, or where there is an overriding public interest, including where the information concerns misconduct, illegality or gross immorality.
THE GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)
Tassels Training Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when working with Tassels Training Ltd, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Why we collect and process your data:
We always ask for your consent to process your data in order to provide our services to you. Relevant information is collected only to allow us to process and deliver your training request.
Your Rights:
If you have given your consent to us processing your data, you have a right to withdraw your consent to any further processing at any time. You also have a right to request your data to be erased from our records.
If you wish to withdraw consent or request an erasure of your data, please email tasselstactilesigning@gmail.com We will always give you the opportunity to opt out of future marketing whenever we send you marketing material or you can opt out at any time by contacting us.
How you can access your information:
You may request details of the information which we hold about you under the General Data Protection Regulation. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please write to Denise Charnock at Tassels Training Ltd, 53 Waterloo Road, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV1 4QQ. There is no charge for this service, and we endeavour to provide this information within one calendar month from the receipt of the request.
How long we keep your information for:
The Regulation does not set out any specific minimum or maximum periods for retaining personal data. Instead, it says that: Personal data processed for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes. Tassels Training Ltd will retain personal data for 1 year. Data collected in relation to new enquiries is kept for a period of 6 months and then deleted.
How we delete your records:
- Paper records of the name, address and phone number of Customers who have booked training courses are filed by reference to the customer in a locked filing cabinet in date of training order. Each month, papers that have reached the end of their retention period are removed and shredded using a cross-shredder. The sack of shredded paper is recycled using the local Council waste management system.
- Digital datais deleted from individual laptops and/or Tassels Training Ltd iCloud storage and then deleted from the recycle bins. All emails pertaining to the Customer are also deleted. The steps for digital data removal are recorded on a process checklist to ensure secure deletion.
