We may require basic information which identifies you as an individual (“Personal Information”), such as your name, email address and phone number, in order to enable you to take advantage of particular services that we offer, for example when you send us a question / request from our “Contact Us” page, request one of our training flyers or further information. We will only use such Personal Information for the purposes of providing information which you have requested, or for other purposes set out in these Terms.

• Email address
• Information pertinent to fulfilling our services on an individual’s or organisation’s behalf.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you to allow us to process and deliver your training request or to keep you informed of future updates on our service.

We use the information that you have given us to organise your individual training request. Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

2. We have a contractual obligation, where you have entered a formal training arrangement.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information for the purpose of:

• Internal record keeping.
• Contacting you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, telephone or post. If you do not wish us to make use of your Personal Information in this way, please email tasselstactilesigning@gmail.com. We will also give you the opportunity to opt out of future marketing whenever we send you marketing material. You can also opt out at any time by contacting us.
• Data collected in relation to new enquiries is kept for a period of 6 months and then deleted.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored in two ways:

• We keep digital information on encrypted electronic systems for 1 year. We will then dispose of your information by deleting from files from individual laptops and/or Tassels Training Ltd iCloud storage and then deleting from the recycle bins. All emails pertaining to the Customer are also deleted. The steps for digital data removal are recorded on a process checklist to ensure secure deletion.
• We keep paper records for Customers for whom training has been requested and/ordelivered for 1 year stored securely in a locked cabinet. We will then dispose of your information via shredded using a cross-shredder. The sack of shredded paper is recycled using the local Council waste management system.

How we use cookies

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added, and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site or page. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual.
